I have tried to make my house functional, comfortable and with a vintage style,&nbsp;making the most of the space to encourage you to enjoy your stay.&nbsp; It is quite unusual for Airbnb stays in the city centre to have a garden and I hope we have the weather for you to enjoy it. You can adapt the space to meet your needs, use the kitchen to prepare your meals to eat outside or indoors at the 4 seat table after which you can then relax together or head out and explore the city.&nbsp; Until 2017 this cottage only had one tap and no heating!&nbsp;But it is thoroughly modernised and now with efficient NEST controlled heating with good doors and windows for your security and comfort. There is fast reliable WIFI and Freeview/Freesat Smart TV. You are also welcome to use my Nespresso coffee machine or cafeteria. Welcome to The Blue Apartment&nbsp; + City Centre location | Shops &amp; Cafes.&nbsp; + Full Kitchen with oven &amp; hob + Short walk from East &amp; West Rail Stations + 2 Minute walk to Cathedral Gate + Fast stable 77mb/s Wifi &amp; Smart TV&nbsp; + Ideal for Universities &amp; Language Schools + Historic Castle Quarter neighbourhood + My Blue Apartment has a good sized bedroom with walk-in wardrobe + A lovely bathroom with bath &amp; shower&nbsp; + Lounge (with sofa bed sleeps 2) + Dining table for 4 + You are booking the whole private self contained apartment with a fully equipped kitchen (not just a microwave and kettle....) in a central secure building with bright well lit communal entrance.&nbsp; + Use the wide stairs or there is a lift. Bikes can be stored at the rear of the building in a bike rack.&nbsp; + I personally own, manage and maintain the flat; cleaning and preparing it in-between guests. Luckily your host will not be a faceless corporate logo....I actually care that you have a great stay....! My flat appeals to many guests who are looking for somewhere clean, modern and spacious for a city break, to visit family studying at the nearby colleges, to visit for work or even to attend a language school. Being a university city there are several graduation events through the year.&nbsp; Many Guests visit for the local history and to explore the East Kent area and walk the countryside as well as the great places to eat &amp; drink. If you get tired of the city,&nbsp;my Apartment offers a comfortable place to relax in and cook for your selves and watch tv or a movie. My flat is in the middle of the city centre and within the City Walls, the front door leads straight into shops, cafes and local history! The flat is on the second floor of a modern apartment block of 12 flats. The building is very secure but easy to access for residents There are no steps between the street and the lift which then leads straight to my front door. If you dont want to use the lift, there is a wide well lit stair case. A car or taxi can park outside the building while you unload luggage, but there is no parking at my flat; there are nearby car parks with a charge.&nbsp; Free parking is available within about 5-10 minutes walk in the Wincheap (try the Martyrs Field Road) area.&nbsp;There is also a Park and Ride bus service which allows overnight parking.
