FIRE TABLE

  1. Turn the button on the fire table to open the gas, then press the ignition.
  2. Leave the button pushed down for like 4 seconds (like almost all of them) and then adjust to the desired level of fire.
  3. Turn off the gas when you are done using it.


If the propane tank is low, we have an extra located behind a door near the back of our garage next to the wood storage on the back of the garage.


SAUNA

Use the dial in the grey square box on the wall next to the Sauna to turn on the Sauna. The light inside the Sauna will turn on when it's starting to heat up. Give it 45-60 minutes for the temperature to get into the "red zone" on the gauge before enjoying (160+ degrees). 


Enjoy the heat or make it steamy by pouring water on the rocks. We recommend having 4 people in the Sauna at one time. 


Hydrate, rinse, and repeat!


HOT TUB

  1. No eating or drinking in the hot tub.
  2. No smoking in or around the hot tub.
  3. No pets in the hot tub.
  4. Shower before using the hot tub to keep the water clean.
  5. If you feel sick, don’t use the hot tub.
  6. Do not exceed the maximum occupancy of the hot tub (4 people).
  7. Children must be supervised by an adult.
  8. People with heart disease, diabetes, any serious illness, or are pregnant should consult a doctor before use.
  9. Do not use the hot tub if you have open wounds.
  10. Do not use the hot tub during thunderstorms.
  11. Do not enter if the temperature is over 104°.
  12. Properly put the cover back on the hot tub after use.
  13. Do not sit or lie down on the hot tub cover.
  14. Damage caused by the guest or a member of the guests’ group due to abuse, misuse, or violation of these rules is the responsibility of the guest.


HEATING & COOLING

You can adjust the temperature using the thermostat on the living room wall. It tends to be warmer upstairs, so feel free to use the fans located in each closet in the bedroom or adjust the thermostat to your liking. However, please try to keep it reasonable, and don’t leave the A/C running when you leave the cottage.


SLEEPER SOFA

A sleeper sofa is in the living room with a queen sized mattress. The sheets and pillows are located under the pull up chaise section. 


BREAKER BOX

If any of the outlets aren't working (especially in the kitchen), there is a breaker box in the basement at the bottom of the stairs to the left.


FIREPLACE

At this time, we do not allow the use of the fireplace. We hope to put in an electric one in near future, so coming soon!


TV

We have a Samsung Frame TV and the remote is on the table. Press the power button to toggle the TV in and out of Art Mode. You can log into your favorite streaming services during your stay. Please log out of them before you leave.


LAUNDRY

Two laundry machines are located in the basement. It is our basement and it's not as pretty as the rest of our home. Detergent and other supplies are located on the table near the machines.
